Terms and Conditions

Last updated: December 2024

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the Valor Legacy website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Services

Valor Legacy provides voluntary-benefits consulting and enrollment services that enable employers to redirect insurance-industry profit sharing to veteran charitable organizations. Our services include benefit analysis, carrier coordination, and impact reporting.

3. Eligibility

Our services are available to employers with 100 or more employees who are interested in implementing voluntary benefit programs with charitable donation components. By using our services, you represent that you have the authority to enter into agreements on behalf of your organization.

4. No Cost to Employers

Valor Legacy's model is designed to operate at no additional cost to employers or employees. Charitable donations are funded through profit-sharing arrangements with insurance carriers, not through commissions or employer funds. Employee premiums and coverage remain unchanged.

5. Charitable Donations

Donation amounts are determined by carrier profit-sharing arrangements and may vary based on employee participation rates and benefit selections. Valor Legacy provides estimates but cannot guarantee specific donation amounts. All donations flow directly from carriers to designated veteran charitable organizations.

6. Insurance Products

Valor Legacy facilitates connections between employers and insurance carriers but does not underwrite or guarantee any insurance products. All insurance products are subject to the terms and conditions of the issuing carrier. Employers should review all carrier documentation before implementation.

7. Confidentiality

We treat all employer and employee information as confidential. Information shared with us will only be used to facilitate benefit enrollment and charitable donation programs. We will not sell or share your information with unrelated third parties without your consent.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Valor Legacy and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

Valor Legacy provides services on an "as is" basis. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid to us for services in the preceding twelve months.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Valor Legacy, its officers, directors, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these terms.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate the service relationship with written notice. Upon termination, any pending charitable donations will be processed according to existing carrier agreements.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
